Ever since being selected as a ‘world class product manufacturer’ by the MOCIE in 2002, Ceragem has passed the qualifications tests every year, and will retain that title having passed this year’s inspections.

The ‘world class product’ system is a policy that the MOCIE has adopted since 2001 in order to create a stable export oriented economy by upgrading and diversifying export products. Strict qualification inspections are carried out annually and companies that meet the standards are granted with a variety of benefits.

The criteria for the ‘world class product’ system are: 1) products that are in the top 5 ranking in terms of world market share, 2) products that are in the top 5 ranking in terms of production size, 3) products that have the top export performance within the nation 4) products that account for over 30% of total domestic exports in that category. The title is maintained if the company satisfies at least one of these qualifications.
