CERAGEM selected as the best Korean company fulfilling CSR in China, CERAGEM sts abreast with SAMSUNG, HYUNDAY , CJ
Healthcare company CERAGEM was selected as the best Korean Company fulfilling CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in China.
“2015 Evaluation for Outsting Korean Companies fulfilling CSR in China” was conducted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in China with the support from KOTRA The Korea Chamber of Commerce in China.At the ceremony, 4 Korean companies received the best award in the field of customer satisfaction (CERAGEM), outsting strategy (SAMSUNG), contribution to local economy (HYUNDAI) creative innovation (CJ) respectively. In the field of customer satisfaction that CERAGEM was evaluated as the best, LG Chemical, Amore Pacific HANJIN Shipping received a runner-up prize.
Especially, this evaluation was conducted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea targeting all Korean companies running business in China. Their CSR activities for a whole year were observed evaluated.
CERAGEM President Kim Sang-sik said, “ I am very proud that CERAGEM is taking the initiative in spreading a positive image of Korea companies as well as the Republic of Korea in China. CERAGEM will continue to pursue CSR activities in china, further we will exp the activities to worldwide in the future.”
CERAGEM is actively engaged in philanthropy projects in the field of education, medical aid relief operations. CERAGEM established 6 Hope Schools volunteered in China’s national relief operations when there was a big earthquake in Sichuan （2008）, drought damage in Southwest area （2010） flood in Jilin （2010）. In addition, CERAGEM is taking part in various corporate philanthropy activities such as support for improvement in national sports, academic research, arts, as well as environment improvement, so on. CERAGEM’s corporate social responsibility activities are contributing greatly to promoting the company br image as well as Korea’s image as a nation in a very friendly positive way.
CERAGEM won the top award in recognition of its effort to fulfill CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) at ‘Annual Health Awards of China’ ceremony in 2012. CERAGEM was the first foreign-funded company received that award. The ‘Annual Health Awards of China’ is the most prestigious award ceremony in the healthcare field in China. In addition CERAGEM won first prize at the ceremony of “Korea’s Beloved Company” in the field of global CSR last year. In October this year, CERAGEM was evaluated “AA” from the China Corporate CSR evaluation committee . |
