Ceragem donated money and goods to Ikseonwon, a welfare facility in Cheonan

Ceragem visited Ikseonwon, the welfare facility for children and youths in Seonggeo-eup, Cheonan, on December 23 and donated money and goods.

Around Christmas every year since 2006, CEO Roh So-Hyun and heads of departments visit Ikseonwon, located the nearest among the organizations that Ceragem is supporting, and tour the facilities for an up-close look at operations. This year, Director Kim Gi-Deok of GBU joined the group in its annual visit.

With ample supports from many organizations, including Ceragem, Ikseonwon has steadily improved. A new building was erected on undeveloped land and turf was installed to make the area safer for children.

Min Tae-Oh, President of Ikseonwon said during the talks, “I am thankful that things have become much better for Ikseonwon with the support of many people. We’re grateful to be part of the efforts to take care of more children in need and expand their facilities. Thankfully, because of the attention of so many people, the children without parents now have a comfortable shelter and loving environment.”

After the talk, the donation was presented and the guests toured the facility and took commemorative photographs.

Ceragem has donated money regularly to 8 organizations for several years, including Ikseonwon, Child Fund Korea, and Korean Compassion, as part of its “Love thy neighbor” effort.
