In recognition of its social awareness, Ceragem was selected as a ‘role-model sponsor’ by the Korea Welfare Foundation and was invited to attend a ‘sponsor-child meeting’ on the 13th of October hosted by Choong-nam/Asan/Seosan Financial Patronage Committee. Ceragem has been sponsoring 10 orphans each month, and received a plaque of gratitude for such efforts.
350 orphans and patrons attended the event, which took place on the grass courtyard in front of KT&G’s Chunan office, provided an opportunity for sponsors and orphans to meet each other and affirm their commitments and hopes for a brighter future. The annual event is already in its 12th year.
The event was divided into two parts, an opening ceremony and a fraternal athletic competition. ▲ Sponsors were introduced to the children during the opening ceremony and outstanding patrons were awarded with a plaque of gratitude.  ▲ During the latter half of the event, children and their patrons formed teams to participate in the field day.
